FIREBIRD is a combination of stent and anti restenosis drug, which stent will pushes the inner wall of coronary artery mechanically, while the drugs in the thin polymer layer released to prevent restenosis due to the placement of stent.

Characteristic of layer structure :

• Base Layer : Polymer layer attached with drug layer and stainless steel, so that ensure the attachement between drugs and stent in the dilatation process and the placement of stent.

• Drug Layer : Consist of polymer and drug (Rapamycin)

• Top Layer : Only polymer, which control release rate of Rapamycin
