Otsuka Care Of Tasikmalaya Earthquake Victims
OTSUKA CARE OF TASIKMALAYA EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
On Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 around 4.55 pm, an earthquake again shake turbulently Indonesia particularly surrounding Southwest of Tasikmalaya, West Java. This earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter Scale (SR) and the whole regions of Java island including Jakarta was also felt the quake.
It claimed over 70 people were killed, 966 people were injured, 32 people were missing and damaged buildings about 18,278 houses in Tasikmalaya, Cianjur, Sukabumi and Bandung region.
Otsuka Group again gave aid to relief these earthquake victims. On September 3rd, 2009, the donation has been submitted through Jasa Tasikmalaya Hospital such as: Food supplement (PROTEN®) to add nutrition value especially protein, Infusion, Infusion set, Pocari Sweat as Isotonic drink to prevent mild dehydration and Soy Joy as fruit soy bar (instant food).
With this aid, we do hope that we could lighten the burden of victims and also as one of Otsuka Group’s care activity towards surrounding Society.
Aid was handed over by representative of Otsuka Group to staff of Jasa Kartini Hospital for distribution to Tasikmalaya earthquake victims on September 3rd, 2009.
Aid of Otsuka Group such as: Food supplement (PROTEN®), Infusion, Infusion Set, Pocari Sweat and Soy Joy, were handed over through Jasa Kartini Hospital, Tasikmalaya.
